Enjoying My First Week

well my first week here has been kind of slow for me personally and im struggling . But all in all my experience has been great. . . . the fields we play on are great and even though the fan base isnt all that big i am enjoying just being here. . my teammates are awesome and we have a great chemistry. as for my future in the Red Sox organization. I personally have no desire to be traded but if it comes down to it then i will accept a trade. It doesnt matter to me who i play for as long as im playing the game. Its what keeps me going everyday of my life and i have no intentions of stopping anytime soon.

I also found out today that i will be participating in the Rising Stars All Star Game. I dont know how i was nominated because i have struggled since ive been here but i will do my best and take advantage of this opportunity.

Hey Josh since you said you’ve been struggling, what has been the most difficult part to adjust to down there in Arizona? I also followed you during the season and as the season went along you walked a little more. Is that something you want to improve on your game? Thanks and I’ll be rooting for you to make it to the bigs as a Red Sox.

Although the in-person fanbase may be tiny, don’t forget all of us in New England and elsewhere who are following every game on Gameday and cheering your every at bat and the other guys performances. During the day you got the solo homer or all during that 13-1 game I’m surprised you couldn’t hear our collective screams of joy in AZ. The Scorpions really appear to be coming together and I’m sure any struggles you are having will be worked out as the team continues to start winning more games.

You deserve to be on that All-Star roster. One week of not doing as well as you would have liked doesn’t cancel out all the awesome stuff you’ve done over your time in the minors.

I’ll be down front April 9th in Portland cheering loudly. See you there. (Unless you are in Rhode Island, of course.)
